STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED

The Bridgewater Police Department and the Bridgewater Office of Emergency Management continue to monitor the winter weather for Sunday night into Monday and will continue to update our community. A Blizzard Warning has been issued. A State of Emergency will be in place starting 12pm Sunday, February 22.
● A significant winter storm is forecast to impact all of eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and the Eastern Shore of Maryland Sunday through Monday with moderate to major
impacts; and possible extreme impacts.
● Widespread heavy snowfall is forecast. Blizzard conditions for most areas along and southeast of the I-95 corridor. Blowing and drifting snow is likely for many areas. Significant disruptions to
travel and infrastructure are likely.
● Precipitation will likely begin as a period of light rain for most areas, before changing over to snow late Sunday morning into Sunday afternoon from north to south. For areas north of I-78,
precipitation will likely remain all snow.
● Strong winds and coastal flooding are also forecast for the Atlantic coast. Coastal Flood Warnings are now in effect for the entire Atlantic coast where widespread Moderate impacts
are likely with potentially Major coastal flood impacts possible.

NO PARKING ON SNOW EMERGENCY ROUTES
Please do not call police communications or DPW about a street not being plowed. With the amount of snow we are expecting, it may take longer than normal to clear the streets in town.

Snow removal can be most efficient and complete when cars are not parked on streets. Use all available garage space and consider squeezing cars onto your own driveway or front lawn.
